4.5

The Organiser may offer early-bird pricing, promotional discounts, group rates or other special offers.

Promotional offers are subject to their stated conditions and do not retrospectively alter completed purchases unless expressly provided.

5.Individual Tickets and Group Bookings

5.1

An individual ticket admits one registered attendee unless the ticket description expressly states otherwise.

5.2

Group bookings entitle the purchaser to the number of admissions specified at checkout.

5.3

5.4

The purchaser must make these Terms and relevant Event information available to the attendees included in their booking.

5.5

Individual attendee substitutions are permitted in accordance with the Cancellation, Refund & Ticket Transfer Policy.

Group bookings do not automatically include sponsorship, exhibition, speaking, promotional or other commercial rights.

5.8

Seating arrangements and special requests are subject to the ticket inclusions and any arrangements expressly confirmed by the Organiser.

6.Booking Confirmations and Admission

Attendees may be required to present a booking confirmation or other reasonable proof of registration.

Tickets may not be duplicated or used to admit more people than the purchased entitlement allows.

6.5

The Organiser may refuse fraudulent or invalid tickets, subject to applicable law.

7.Cancellation, Refunds and Ticket Transfers

7.1

The Unmuted Summit Cancellation, Refund & Ticket Transfer Policy forms part of these Terms.

7.2

Tickets are generally non-refundable for change of mind or attendee-initiated cancellation, subject to applicable law.

7.3

Ticket transfers are permitted without an administration fee where requested at least 48 hours before the scheduled commencement of the Event.

7.4

If an Event is postponed, ticket holders may retain their tickets for the rescheduled Event or request a refund in accordance with the Cancellation, Refund & Ticket Transfer Policy.

7.5

If the Organiser cancels an Event, the applicable refund arrangements are set out in that policy.

7.6

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights under Australian Consumer Law.

8.Changes to the Event

8.1

The Organiser may make reasonable changes to speakers, session times, activities, running order, seating arrangements or other operational details.

8.2

We will take reasonable steps to notify ticket holders of material changes.

8.3

Minor changes do not automatically entitle a ticket holder to a refund.

8.4

Where a significant change materially alters the nature or substance of the Event, affected ticket holders may be entitled to a refund or other remedy under applicable law.

8.5

If a venue change is required, we will endeavour to provide a reasonably suitable alternative and communicate the revised arrangements.

8.6

The Organiser will not knowingly advertise an unconfirmed speaker as confirmed.

9.5

Any refund decision following refusal of admission or removal will be subject to applicable law and the circumstances.

9.6

Attendees must not engage in unauthorised commercial solicitation, distribute promotional materials without permission or undertake activities that materially disrupt the Event.

Attendees requiring accessibility assistance or reasonable adjustments are encouraged to contact the Organiser before the Event.

12.2

We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requests in accordance with applicable law and venue capabilities.

12.3

Where catering is included, attendees should provide dietary requirements by any reasonable deadline communicated before the Event.

Personal information will be handled in accordance with the Unmuted Stories Privacy Policy.

13.3

We may send booking confirmations, Event reminders, operational updates and other communications reasonably necessary to administer a booking.

13.4

Purchasing a ticket does not automatically subscribe a customer to unrelated ongoing promotional email marketing.

13.5

Consent for ongoing promotional email marketing will be sought separately where required by law.

13.6

We do not automatically provide attendee contact lists to Event sponsors or commercial partners for their independent marketing purposes.

13.7

Where an attendee chooses to provide information directly to a sponsor or partner, that organisation's own privacy practices may apply.

14.Australian Consumer Law and Liability

14.1

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, statutory right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.

14.2

To the extent permitted by law, the Organiser is not responsible for losses caused solely by an attendee's acts or omissions or circumstances outside the Organiser's reasonable control.

14.3

Any exclusion or limitation of liability applies only to the extent permitted by law.

14.4

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where exclusion is prohibited by law.

14.5

Any entitlement to compensation for reasonably foreseeable losses arising from a failure to comply with applicable consumer guarantees will be determined in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

15.1

Questions, complaints or disputes should initially be directed to studio@unmutedstories.com.au.
